An afternoon at the farm

by David June 27, 2011 19:23

Last Monday was beautiful weather, so we bicycled to a friend's farm hoping we could "be helpful".  After spending some time nailing floor mats to the barn floor, I got to join the haying crew with Mr. T.

Raking A man out standing in his field

It is such a blessing to work with a godly man.

As we were raking, we saw a coyote.

I think he was looking for mice or moles that couldn't hide anymore in the tall grass.

Wow! In all my years of living here on the farm, I have never seen a coyote up close like that! I would have loved to have seen it!
I really like the picture of my dad walking in the field. He looks like he belongs there with the blue sky, hay on the ground, the tractor... they are all bound up together in my mind. And I readily agree that my daddy is a wonderful, godly man!!!
